The Red Rocks of Sedona. Thoreau was wise but unrealistic. He needs qualifiers. Life is not an on/off switch. To get a serendipitous moment may require putting up with multiple ordinary moments. A low price.

The photo is of Jack Gold’s key collection. He was my father-in-law, he had strong opinions and lived a full life. Much of my happiness I owe to him since he was the father of Nurit.

Photo is from Antelope Canyon near Page, Arizona. It is a slot canyon with beautiful sandstone formations that is well run by the Navaho. Tom, my broother, and I went on a toour there in December.
