While in the Galapagos I had the idea that it would be nice to have a gps signal on my camera. The signal would imprint the location on each picture. It would be able to work with Google Maps so that you could sort your picture pretty automatically by location as well as by time.

Where was this picture taken? 

Well the camera has been made by Pentax among others.

And Sony sells an add-on that does the same thing I think.

It looks like a good idea but I realistically don’t have time to figure out how to make it work.

• contractors
• outdoor adventures
• where to find thing in a big box retailer
• Travel

and many more. This is one of the ideas that is waiting for perfect execution by the software and hardware suppliers to become popular.
