Take a look at this picture of a chart that came with my auto registration renewal:

According to this chart if you weigh under 120 pounds and you have more than one drink and then drive you could get a DUI.  But if you weigh 190 pounds or more you can have three drinks.  Of course people want to gain weight then they can drink more.
