Dolce far niente

An expression in Italian loosely translated as:

The sweetness of doing nothing.

I have been trying to consciously do nothing and I find it hard. I see things that need to be done or go down the rabbit hole of a “stupid computer game” or scroll social media. Just like almost everybody. I will have to keep practicing. This morning I was racing to make it through a traffic light before it changed and had to remind myself; “you don’t have a deadline.
