Signs

Balance

Some days you eat salads and go to the GYM. Some days you eat 20 Tacos and drink Margaritas. It’s called Balance. The clever sign board outside The Taco Guild (Osborne at 7th St) Excellent Brunch!

Your Pass

“All thing has a cause. Look into your pass for answer.” From a Fortune Cookie. Almost a stereotype of an inscrutable Chinese saying in a B-movie.

Ineptocracy

A useful new word. Ineptocracy A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers. Buy the shirt.

Thank You Note

A nice person from Arcadia posted this sign at the Sierra Madre post office: Gratitude pays double.  It pays the giver and the receiver.

How Much?

At Sur la Table you can buy a coffee maker for $6000.00.  It’s on sale. The regular price is $7600.00.  What a great country. I’m not making this up look at the lower right corner of the photo.  The clerks in the store make about $15.00 an hour.  There sure is a lot of disposable income knocking around in the world. “Dear do you want to fly to London first class or buy a coffee maker.”
