Lighthouses around the world are tourist destinations. They no longer have much reason to exist for navigation purposes but we still love them. We visited Nubble Light and took the picture featured below the fold after we bought this postcard at LL Bean in Freeport, Maine. In Maine we had a great visit with Jim and Lynne. Life is good.

An over-sized and expensive postcard from the Immersive Van Gogh exhibit in Scottsdale. I highly recommend the exhibit. The immersive experience was like seeing the future of art.

Winston Says
After he retired Winston Churchill was cruising the Mediterranean on an Italian ship. When asked why he chose an Italian ship he replied: “There are three things I like about being on an Italian cruise ship. First, their cuisine is unsurpassed. Second, their service is superb. And then, in time of emergency, there is none of this nonsense about women and children first.”
