A Saying at the Divide

“All the problems we face today are
there because the people who work
for a living are outnumbered by those
who vote for a living.”

I’m posting this not because I think it is true but because I know people who think it is true and I know people who think it is false.  I think it has a hint of truth but it is in fact mostly false.  I’d reword it to say:

“Some of the problems we face today are

there because the people who work

for a living are at the same time

trying to vote themselves a deal.”
