The saguaro cacti in Arizona are special and this one in North Scottsdale is even more special than most.

It has a seam. Because it is a cell tower disguised as a cactus. Need more proof? How about the electric meter?

After you spot your first one, perhaps along Happy Valley Road, you’ll be surprised by how many of them there are. One of my most popular blog posts ever was about cell towers as art.  But disguise also works as this idea attests.
