Famine once thought to be a permanent and ordinary part of life has largely disappeared.
Science and engineering not government and legislation have almost eliminated famine. Science it appears is curing the ills of human existence almost faster than we can adjust. The next one to be solved by science and not by legislation will be human caused climate change. What a wonderful time to be alive.
