Words Seldom Seen: Calumny

Calumny

Noun: A slanderous statement about a person in order to harm their reputation.

Examples: “Politicians are often victims of calumny.” “Donald Trump uses Calumny as a weapon.”

Photo is from the al fresco dining area at Tarbell’s Tavern. It is like tailgating without the drunken fans. It is one of our favorite places for an early dinner.
