My good and thoughtful friend
The photo is of the foothills of the Alps from the Bersi Serlina Winery where we stopped to do an excellent wine tasting and tour. I don’t remember much about the wine. The scenery was beautiful.

In Bordeaux in August I took a lot of photos of grapes. This is the best one.
Calumny

Photo is from the al fresco dining area at Tarbell’s Tavern. It is like tailgating without the drunken fans. It is one of our favorite places for an early dinner.
One evening you open a bottle of wine and drink a glass. It is delicious. The next night the wine is not quite as good and by the third night the wine is almost undrinkable. You drink it anyway because you really need the alcohol to help forget your day at work but that is another story. Recently it happened to me and the idea of Three Day Wine was born.
