The Aleppo Codex
By Matti Friedman
This book is a nonfiction thriller about an ancient book. It is educational and exciting. It doesn’t end neatly the way good fiction does. The villains, and there are a few, don’t get their “just desserts.” I found the book drew me along and I was sneaking off to read it. I wanted to know what happened in all three of the threads. It gets a seven in my one to ten rating system.
