We have a group and we are training. Our guides are Timberline Mountain Guides. The dates are July 16 and 17.
It is not as hard as climbing Mt Whitney in terms of distance and elevation gain but some of the hike is over snow and ice fields. On the first day we will be learning how to use crampons and ice axes. On the second day we summit weather and the fates permitting. Lilli and Rebecca are both planning to go on this one along with some of their friends.
Again this year we will be hiking to raise awareness of awareness. If you would like to contribute to this effort please don’t bother. We are aware that you want to and that is enough.
