Near Ashland Oregon is the McKee Bridge.
It is a covered bridge with open approaches which rotted away. A good example of the need to cover wood bridges to save the timbers.
Much of it has been rebuilt over the years by local contributions.
The river it crosses is excellent for swimming and gold panning.
