Where did people gamble before there were Indian Casinos and State Lotteries?
Has the amount of gambling increased? Is that a good thing? As a libertarian it is a bit of a quandry. One the one hand we want to let people make their own choices. On the other gambling makes paupers of the most gullible. Maybe the level of gambling hasn’t increased.
Here is another question for you to ponder. How many of the people who can’t afford health insurance do buy a lottery ticket? Maybe it is a choice they make?
