Long Beach Aquarium

Nurit and I went to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach on the train. We took the Metro gold line from Pasadena to LA. Then the red line to 7th street and the blue line to Long Beach. It was fairly easy and only took about twice as long as driving.

We ate lunch at Bubba Gumps Seafood and took a quick tour of the Aquarium. If I hadn’t been to The Monterey Bay Aquarium I would have thought it was excellent. But it pales by comparison. It is mostly set up for school group tour with lots of videos, well chaperoned touch pools and interactive displays.

They had the best sea horse display I have ever seen in an aquarium.

The best part was spending a day with Nurit exploring around LA.

  1. Thank you Simon for contributing your knowledge today in our MMKT440 class. You have inspired me to continue with my dreams of inventing new and fun ideas people can use to make their life easier. About your web-site I could not find the link to pasadena angels, If you can direct me to the link I would greatly appreciate it. Also one more question, To patent your ideas did you use the USPTO.gov, or did you suggest using or having a lawyer to help you with the claims, trademarks, patent, etc.
Thank You, Continued Luck in Life
