Toys 2007

For the last few years I have bought all of the young people at our family Hanukkah party some kind of radio controlled model. This year our family Hanukkah was on the 20th day of Hanukkah and at night but we still bought some. The results were mixed.

The helicopter never flew. (sorry Jennifer)

The earth moving equipment was tethered not radio controlled. It did make great noises however and came with “real plastic rocks”.

The race track thingy was built to cheaply to ever work. (sorry Lillian)

The star of the nights event were the monster trucks. We had two. They ran on the driveway and on the lawn and were controllable and competitive. (Congratulations George and Nora)

This was just over a hundred dollars of cheap plastic toys from China and bought at Radio Shack. Nobody got lead poisoning and we all had a few hours of good fun.

I’m a little bit disappointed about the helicopter but what do your really expect for that price.
