This great picture of a sunrise at Cuba Lake, NY was taken by Richard Siegel. He is my friend Brock’s older brother and one of the people I admired and tried to emulate when I was young. He is obviously a great photographer and lives in a beautiful place.

We lived at Cuba Lake for a few summers after my Dad went to work in Kuwait and before he moved his base back to England. About 1965 to 1968. Our house/cabin was #87 on the other side of the lake in the cheaper neighborhood and was uninsulated. I tried to live there one winter. I almost froze to death.
