In January the Changing Boundaries map exhibit was at Cal State LA. And when I went to pick it up I got a ticket for parking at the spot where I had to park to pick up the exhibit.
Even though I had left a sign on the windshield and had a grad student watching the van.
Two weeks ago I was at Arizona State University in Tempe arranging to take the map exhibit there. I parked incorrectly and got this ticket:
With a waiver on the back:
Which University do you think makes more friends and get more donations.
btw I went all of the way through the appeal process at CSULA and lost at every turn. What they don’t know is that I’ll take the ticket cost out of future donations to the University. I was a relatively generous donor for the last few years. But more importantly because of the internet I can badmouth Cal State LA’s parking enforcement process on the internet.
A word of advise: Don’t let the police run a school.
