Epictetus was a Greek Stoic philosopher about 100 BCE. The quote came to me via Nancy W on Facebook. Nancy is the creator of, among other thing, Clonehenge.
I’m currently reading a book titled The First Clash by Jim Lacey. It is about the battle of Marathon between the Greeks and the Persians. Very interesting.
