My good friend Paula B. took this photo while she was in India on a photo expedition . She claims that it made perfect sense when she took the picture. Now that it is in the West however we have lost the meaning.
Any ideas?

In life what is profit? It certainly isn’t just money.
Are you teasing me?
Do you want to buy some handicrafts?
Not teasing you at all! Most of the photos I took in India were of signs. I am guessing it has a more general meaning: “everyone needs a livelyhood (business); everyone likes a profit.”
Kind of a local version of the Calvin Coolidge quote: “The business of America is business.”
