We have wildfires burning about five miles west of us and about ten miles east.  The smoke is a bit irritating.  It remind me of the smell of Bangkok.  But there is a positive: The sunrises are spectacular.

Of course I didn’t enjoy the spectacular sunrises as much last spring when the fire in Sierra Madre was only a mile or two away.
