Francis Lewis
Born in Wales, Francis Lewis moved to America when he was 21 and became a successful merchant.
Lewis was active in New York politics during the revolutionary war era and was a delegate to the Continental Congress and a signer of the Declaration of Independence.
He died in New York in 1802 at age 89 and is buried at Trinity Church cemetery.
The Wikipedia entry is silent about his role in the revolutionary war.
