“The Constitution shall never be construed to prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms.”

Samuel Adams was born in Massachusetts in 1722 into a wealthy family and entered politics soon after graduating from Harvard. He was the founder of the “Sons of Liberty” and perhaps coined the phrase: “No taxation without representation.”
