Writ of Attainder
Noun: an act of a legislature declaring a person, or a group of people, guilty of some crime, and providing for a punishment, often without a trial. Often called a Bill of Attainder it violates the Bill of Rights and is clearly unconstitutional.
Example: “Estoban was deported using an executive order as a Writ of Attainder. ICE claimed that they were authorized by the 2025 emergency immigration executive action.”
