“Of all the mountain ranges I have climbed, I like the Sierra Nevada the best.”
My endurance hiking days are almost over. Wherever I have lived I have adopted the local mountains as my home mountains and I hike all over them. However the hiking in the Sierra Nevada is spectacular. The granite is beautiful and makes great trails, and the air is magically clear. I’m with John Muir on this one.
