Back in the 1990’s it was acceptable behavior to feed the deer and the bears in Wawona. The photo shows Nurit, Uncle Joel, Matthew and Rebecca greeting a morning visitor to the Chatterton Cabin. It was one of the smallest and plainest cabins in the area but it was affordable and it was in walking distance of the stream and the store.
