In our democratic republic we have the vote and the right to petition. The vote was lost. A way to petition is to write a letter to your elected officials telling them what you are dissatisfied with. ie Ukraine policy, Immigration Policy, Trade Policy. Fear of not being re-elected has an effect on elected officials.
