Rasher
Noun: A few thin slices of bacon. Commonly three slices but not always.
Example: “A rasher of bacon went well with the eggs over easy.”
Apparently this word is unrelated to rash meaning acting before thinking. But it might lead to the confusing sentence: “She ordered tea but I was rasher and ordered a rasher of bacon.”
