One of my hobbies is sending postcards to friends and also to strangers using PostCrossing. It is fun and whimsical way of multiplying happiness without much effort. On Postcrossing people fill out a profile saying a little bit about themselves and also what types of postcards they would like to receive. I have a big box of postcards so I try to accommodate most requests. Usually I can’t find a perfect fit but occasionally I have a card that I think is a perfect match.
The card above is one of them. The requester, from the Netherlands is a teacher who loves hand lettering and design. I sent it yesterday with high hopes. We shall see.
The card arrived and the recipient raved about it. But she didn’t add it to her favorites.
