WWIT about Trump, Ukraine and Impeachment
When Donald Trump was elected President we already knew he was a deeply flawed man who had no experience running a government. But being a fool is not an impeachable offense. The text of the Constitution says impeachment requires “high crimes and misdemeanors.”
Based on the information we have so far about Trump’s phone call with the President of Ukraine, he is not there yet. But this is subject to change if new facts surface about coverups, payments or a quid pro quo.
I don’t like Trump he is a coarse man and an egotistical fool but he won an election and to me the proper way to correct the problem is to elect someone better.
Other random thoughts:
Impeachment sounds like the kind of thing a “Banana Republic” would do.
Joe Biden has some explaining to do about his son getting paid $50,000/month from a Ukrainian company.
Was it okay for cabinet level officials from the Obama administration to call Ukraine to get the goods on Paul Manafort? Did the rules change?
It might be time to start liking Elizabeth Warren.
Meanwhile the economy keeps booming along.
