Visit the Cat Cafe in San Diego and spend some quality cat time without having to own one. This definitely falls into the “why didn’t I think of that” category. It is a brilliant idea for tourist areas everywhere. I’m thinking of opening one in St Petersburg or London. San Francisco and Scottsdale might also work. Anywhere in the Caribbean where the cruise ships land. Lahaina on Maui. Portland or Seattle? Near any Disney park anywhere.
It was closed when I walked by on Sunday morning but it looked clean and prosperous. Nice web site.
So if you want to own a business and you love cats, get a job at this cafe learn and how it is done. Then move to a likely place that you love and give it a try. You’ll need good cats, low rent, about a years worth of working capital and lots of tourists.
