On November 4, 1979 Iran invaded the US embassy in Iran and took 52 people hostage. They were held hostage until January of 1981. Fast forward to early April of 2024 when military commanders from Iran were killed in a missile strike on a building next to the Iranian embassy in Syria. Iran and its Allie’s are acting outraged. Have they forgotten that they were the ones who changed the rules about the sovereignty of embassies back in 1979. We stand with Israel.

Happy Hanukkah A country must be allowed to fight incursions that kill it citizens. I’m not a religious Jew but I will be praying this holiday season for moderate Palestinians and moderate Israelis to find ways to live and prosper together in peace. Shalom.
That which has been seen…… cannot be unseen. Hamas’s Pogrom on October 7 was one such event. Jews from around the world will not stop until all of the perpetrators are brought to justice. I support this effort. It is not just for retribution but to show the world that when the Jews say “Never Again” they mean it. The photo is of the gate of the Dachau concentration camp in Germany.

The two million people in Gaza sounds like a lot. But as a percent of the worlds population (approx ten billion) it amounts to 0.02%. Why don’t we allocate them among the countries who have expressed deep concern about their plight and let them move. The USA can supply the transportation and can take a number of asylum seekers proportional to the number of pro Hamas protesters we have.
