“Facts”, by definition, don’t change. New facts may be discovered, or old facts may be proven incorrect. In addition, facts which are still held to be correct may be interpreted with different logic base on different circumstances.
I believe we were both at a Caltech event when the following was presented by one of the speakers, “Data are not facts, facts are not knowledge, and knowledge is not wisdom.”
However, from a practical point of view, I quote Keynes statement all the time.
