This weekend UCLA plays Stanford in their last regular season game. If they lose they may have to play Stanford again the following Friday in the PAC 12 conference final.
Note to Sports Conference organizers. Don’t use a number in your name. That way when the number of teams in the conference changes as it surely will you won’t need to rebrand.

I’m a BIG 10 girl, but for years there have been 11 teams and then 12. Same name. Now there’ll be 14 teams in 2014. Since the NCAA didn’t change the name from the BIG 10 to the BIG 11 or the BIG 12, will they finally change to the BIG 14? After all, the PAC 12 use to be the PAC 10.
