Does anyone else think that it incredibly bad idea that Congress and the President are planning to send everyone a check in an election year. They claim it is to “help the economy.” I can understand how Keynesian Democrats might believe that. But Republicans should know better. If you print money to send it to people who didn’t earn it, it is inflationary. The markets know this. Look at commodity prices and the sliding value of the dollar.
