For many years my birthday was the 4th of July but now I just celebrate it as the birthday of my adopted and much loved country.

We had a party last night when both girls were in town and could do most of the work.  The party was wonderful.  I think the high point was the sparklers.

but Lillian’s centerpieces were also wonderful.

And so were Rebecca’s frozen pops

The photos are nonsequitorious (newish word form) because I forgot to take pictures during the party.  So you have to settle for some morning after shots.
