Do you remember back in 2007 when Senator Obama said:
“The President does not have the power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.”
The quote is from the debate in the Senate when President Bush was trying to get Congress to approve his actions in Iraq. Senator Obama opposed that action and ran for the Democrat nomination as an antiwar candidate. How things change.
