I ran into this trying to order old fashioned bulk tea on the internet. What’s new (but really old) in the industry is whole leaf tea, which is supposed to have more flavor. Full-sized tea leaves, instead of being broken up. I guess the label should have said “whole leaf tea in a tea bag.”
I order whole leaf, loose leaf, free-range tea in a tin.
I think the tea is better if the leaves are picked on sunny mornings by comely young women singing songs of peace. The leaves should never touch metal or be exposed to any harsh noise.
