While it is blizzarding in the Midwest here in Pasadena we are having a beautiful Autumn with 80 degree temperatures and crystal clear skies.
As a result we can doubly enjoy the season. Once because it is so beautiful and second schadenfreude.
Schadenfreude is a German word meaning deriving pleasure from the misfortune of others.

Thanks for letting us know that it is 80 there. It was 12 degrees when I got up this morning. We are supposed to get snow tomorrow. I hadn’t seen real snow in ten years. I live here for less than a year and I have seen enough of it to make me want to move to Bora Bora.

there is no Disney in Bora Bora, but they are building a resort in Hawaii. I think I could live without Disney if I was warm all year long.
