A Zip Line in Texas courtesy of Flickr
This is a simple business idea. Build a zip line in Pasadena. Zoom by the Rose Bowl and under the Colorado Blvd bridge.
It seems that everybody who owns two trees in Costa Rica has built a zip line and people who have ridden them really like it. Why not in Pasadena. It is just as likely as golf. It could be profitable from day one if you could get the permits and the insurance figured out.

I know a guy who went from 6sigma/lean technical training to building/owning a zip line farm….in Ohio…vertical incline? Also, make sure you do well on the insurance bit: we did a zip line in costa rica and had much fun…the following day a woman got stuck mid-way in a long run….and they hadn’t waited for her to arrive at the end prior to letting the next person go…a summa wrestler size man…she didn’t need her return trip ticket home….
