Anna D was a good friend of Rebecca in Middle School and we became friends with her parents. They moved 6 or so years ago to South Carolina. While we were on our trip east last month we had a very nice visit with them in Beaufort and took this picture:

Jane Bill’s wife and their other daughter Amanda were in Paris for spring break so we unfortunately missed them.  One of my favorite things about travelling is stopping to see old friends and even friends of friends.  We all change slowly and it is only by comparing to a reference point that we can see the change.  We walked in Beaufort a very nice antebellum town and had lunch at a very good place on the waterfront.  A kind passerby took the excellent picture above.
