I just finished reading “The Devils Company” on my Kindle. It is a great piece of historic fiction about 18th Century England. David Liss the author also wrote “The Coffee Trader” and “A Conspiracy of Paper” both of which I enjoyed reading.

“The Devils Company” is an excellent book. The plot had more twists than the Platte River flood plain. I couldn’t put it down. The images that Liss paints of early 18th century England are entertaining and educational.
Based on his novels he should live in an old suburb of London but in fact he lives in San Antonio, TX has cats and writes a wonderfully eclectic blog which even with the cats is worth reading. He even puts in pictures.
