Yesterday I posted a story about the tragedy of our neighbors house burning. This morning in the street there are a half dozen “public adjusters.” They are here trying to get the right to represent our neighbors against their insurance company. It appears to me that “public adjuster” is a polite way of saying “ambulance chaser.”
Also at least three groups of firemen have been in the house to review what went on.
