In our family we sometime go of on laughing tangents about odd things.  Sometimes the tangents last for years:

Blue Fuff

Blue Fuff is an example of a family joke.  Lillian was trying to say blue stuff or fluff and ended up with a new word Fuff.  We still laugh about it whenever we see a truck covered with tarps.
