Our friend Jessie Seiler is in Senegal with the Peace Corp. She writes an excellent blog occasionally has a burst of posts on Facebook and is raising money to distribute anti-malaria nets in her village. Jessie went on an excellent Grand Canyon river-rafting trip with us in 2004. I believe this is where she learned lots of the skills that she is putting to use in Senegal. Telling tall tales, being to hot, unsanitary conditions, unsavory companions etc.

You have heard about micro-lending. This is micro fundraising. The money gets raised by the person who is going to spend it to do the task described. I like it! You can feel good without leaving your keyboard. Jessie will do the work and we can share the reflected glory. “the best glory is reflected…”
