The Founders: Benjamin Harrison V

The Harrison family did not use roman numerals to distinguish between the generations it was a later addition by historians. He served several terms as Governor of Virginia and voted against the ratification of the Constitution because it lacked a bill of rights. The Harrison family was to the 19th century what the Kennedy family was to the 20th. A large presence in the politics of the nation spanning generations.
