Tin foil
Noun:Tin foil, also spelled tinfoil, is a thin foil sheet made of tin. The term is sometimes used erroneously to refer to aluminum foil. After WWII tinfoil was largely replaced by cheaper and more durable aluminum foil.
Example: “When grandma asked for the tinfoil we knew to hand her the Aluminum foil and keep our mouths shut.”
