The tree you may have seen before. It was a photo I took this summer in Davis CA. The saying is from FIRP, a charity we support. They are struggling mightily to help the millions of people who emigrated here at the beginning of the 21st century just like so many did at the beginning of the 20th century. Our relative affluence gives us a special obligation to succor the strangers in our midst.
