Last week Peter and his great dog Mojo hiked with me on the Granite Mountain Hotshots Memorial Trail. It was a great hike. The trail was longish, well built and very meaningful. The photos I have don’t do it justice so you have to settle for the link above and the advice.
In an older hiking blog post my first rule of hiking was: “Stay positive, you are more than halfway to somewhere.”
We encountered this sign down near The Table Top Trailhead. Directions on request or just look in 60 Hikes Within 60 Miles of Phoenix. It is hike number sixty. This is a photo of me at the end of the Table Top Trail:
We saw an angry rattlesnake on the Circumference Route at Piestewa a few weeks ago. Be careful out there. The sign was near the bathroom at the trailhead. Steve G heroically used his stick to toss it off the trail.
